In 2006 the Aquatex family entered two new products: Aquatex Extra and Aquatex Anitiseptic Coat.
«Aquatex Extra» is a modern highly effective compound based on specially selected alkyd resins with various viscosity and excels foreign similar products. It is intended for decorative fine wood furnishing and reliable, long term preservation of indoors and outdoors wood structures. Micro waxes included into recipe create additional moisture repelling and airproof qualities, while natural oils give the coating flexibility and elasticity and make it possible to apply it over paint oil (old paint layer). Modern environmentally safe biocides give protection against all kinds of mold, saprogenic and wood coloring fungus. New light inhibitors system included into Aquatex Extra recipe consists of unique UV-absorbents (components, consuming solar radiation) and new generation UV absorbing nanopigments (small coloring elements with a size of up to 0.1 microns, reflecting and absorbing sun light) that allows to achieve high stability of color and prevents wood from turning grey. Leaving the natural wood structure visible, Aquatex Extra creates a silk glossy layer with a pleasant hue, which is achieved through use of special transparent pigments. Exclusive high tech formula of «Aquatex Extra», that includes all the latest scientific achievements in the field of wood protection allows to extend the coating layer service life up to 8 years when used outdoors. The compound possesses optimal thixotropic qualities – the ability to gain viscosity in absence of kneading action (it is very important for retaining of homogeneity and preventing flaking during storage, it also prevents splashes and down flows during painting), in the same time it lowers viscosity level as kneaded or applied with a brush (good flow ability and single-element coating). Ñîñòàâ «Aquatex Antiseptic Coat» is an excellent choice for a basic component of any acryl or alkyd coatings that can be applied after 24 hours after antiseptic coat application. This compound can be applied on wed wood (up to 40%).
