GENERAL INFORMATION
The Aquatex® compound (TU 2389-006-13238275-96) is a pigmented compound of alkyd resins and special additives in organic solvents and water. The compound forms a breathing bioprotective water-resistant polymer coating on the wood surface. Preserves or enhances the wood texture and gives it a desired shade. As compared to other similar compounds, it is distinguished by increased resistance to bleaching and biological activity. In order to increase the environmental safety when applying and using the product, part of the organic solvent contained in Aquatex was replaced by water.
It is possible to treat wood with moisture up to 40 %.
The compound was permitted for application by the Center of State Sanitary and Epidomiological Control of Moscow.

Finsishing sawn and planed wood surfaces inside a building and outside.
PURPOSE

decorative finish imitating finewood and giving to wood other desired colors and shades;

protecting wood from atmospheric effects, protection against decay, mildew, molds, wood stain, destruction by wood-eating insects;

preliminary preservative treatment of wood before applying oil and alkyd varnishes, paints, or varnish paints.
CONSUMPTION RATE BY SINGLE APPLICATION:
Repeated application of the compound increases the intensity of the color and the resistance of the coating to atmospheric effects. It is allowed to mix Aquatex compounds of various colors to receive desired shades.
The shade and intensity of the coating color largely depend on the sort of wood, quality of the surface finish and the number of the layers applied. When treating large areas, it is recommended to mix the required amount of the compound in a container to receive a uniform shade. It is not dilute to mix Aquatex® with anything or mix it with compounds of other brands.
During application the ambient temperature and the temperature of the surface must not be below +5°C.
Storage conditions: store at a temperature of 0 to +40°C in a sealed container. Do not freeze!
Warranty shelf life - 12 months from date of manufacture.
