According to SNiP, wooden buildings, designed as people dwellings, as well as textiles, must be necessarily treated by special fire-retardant compounds, meeting the requirements of NPB 251-98 and NPB 257-02, GOST R 50810-95.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The KSD compound is manufactured according to TU 2389-006-17483468-94 with amendments No. 1 and No. 2 is a water solution of fire-retardants, as well as special additives, including high-efficiency perservative and biocidal components and processing additives.

The KSD fire- and biological protection compound was certified by the Russian Research Institute of Fire-Prevention of the Russian Federation Ministry of Emergencies (Fire Safety Certificate No. SSPB.UP001.V02899).

The KSD compound was permitted for application by the Center of State Sanitary and Epidomiological Control of Moscow.

PURPOSE

The KSD compound should be applied in the following cases:

1. To receive fire-resistant wood according to GOST 16363-98 (consumption 400- 500 g/m2).
2. To protect wooden structures from decay and effect of various destructive biological factors (mildew, mold, wood-eating insects, wood stain appearance, blackening, etc.). (consumption: 250 g/m2).
3. To receive fire-resistant textile materials, containing up to 33 % polyether. NPB 257-02, GOST R 50810-95 (consumption 150 g/m2).

KSD APPLICATIONS

1. Treatment of framing of buildings and structures;
2. Treatment of floors, floor beams, walls, ceilings, and other wood surfaces and structures, not subject to direct influence of precipitation;
3. Treatment of timber in case of their prolonged storage in the open, as well as by prolonged tranportation by land or sea, including transportation outside CIS (the compound meets the international norms and requirements for such protection systems).
4. Treating textile materials for fire- and biological protection.

KSD APPLICATION TECHNIQUES

The KSD compound must be applied at temperatures above zero to dry untreated by any paints or varnishes surfaces to be protected:

• airless or hydraulic spraying, brush, application roll;
• submerging in a special dipping tank, deep autoclave impregnation (for timber at wood-working complexes).

Storage conditions: store in a sealed container at the temperature not below -5°C, repeated freezing excluded.

Warranty shelf life - 24 months from date of manufacture.
