Complex Wood Protection has been one of the main lines of activity of NPP Rogneda CJSC during the last 14 years. The offered materials are environmentally friendly, they are used for inside and outside work and have a lasting effect.

The protection of wood from microorganisms and insects must be carried out by state-of-the-art means which have a selective effect on specific microorganisms and are safe for man, animals and environment-friendly. Examples of such means are: Biosept, Biosept-trans and Antizhuk.

Preservative compound Biosept was created for protecting wood from the formation and spreading of fungi, mildew, and other destructive biological factors, as well as to prevent wood contamination with wood-borers and wood staing. The Biosept compound neutralizes the enzymes produced by fungi and mildew, thus disrupting the process of the wood organic substance decay, which results in the destruction of the fungi and mildew growth medium. The product is safe for people and pets. Besides, the compound has a high ability to penetrate the material, has no odor, and does not induce corrosion in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The Biosept compound may be used no only on inside and outside wooden surfaces, providing these are protected from the effect of precipitation, but also on stone and brick surfaces, especially under the conditions of excessive humidity. The compound is sold fully ready for use, and can be applied to the treated surfaces by a brush, applicator roll, garden spraying device, paint spray gun, or by submerging.

Preservative compound Biosept-trans efficiently protects freshly sawn timber from colorizing, mold, and wood-destroying fungi, as well as from wood-borers for the period of atmospheric drying, transportation, and storage under the conditions of hygroscopin and condensation damping. The main advantages of Biosept-trans are: high penetration ability and the biological protection efficiency, possibility to treat timber with the 80 % moisture, long term of guaranteed protection (6 months), environmental safety. The application of the Biosept-trans compound does not effect the wood color after treatment, and does not reduce its quality. The Biosept-trans compound is sold as a concentrate, readily soluble in water. Its low consumption rate for preparing the treatment solution makes the compound higly economical. The treatment of timber with the solution of the Biosept-trans compound may be carried out both by submerging, and by a brush or an applicator roll, which is very convenient when working with small timber quantities. The Biosept-trans timber preservative may be supplied with an indicator, which makes it possible to easily differentiate the treated wood from the untreated.

The wood damaged by fungi may later be damaged by insects. Biocidal compound Antizhuk guarantees the destruction of wood-eating insects at all stages of their evolution. It stops the starting biological damage and prevents the formation and spreading of mildew, fungi, wood stain, and decay on wood surfaces.

To return the original appearance to the wood which was rendered unmarketable (wood stain, mildew, dark areas), the company created Iney - wood bleaching and protection agent. The compound has high bleaching efficiency, but does not damage the upper wood layer or reduce the strength, adhesion and painting properties of the wood after treatment. Iney takes care of the preliminary preservative treatment of wood before it being treated with special protective compounds, not inhibiting the natural wood breathing. The compound is easy-tu-use, highly economical and non-combustible.
