GENERAL INFORMATION

The 88-Luxe multi-purpose water-resistant adhesive (TU 2513-005-13238275-96) is a solution of synthetic rubbers, synthetic adhesive resins, and modifiers in the mixture of ethyl acetate and solvent petroleum spirit.

PURPOSE

The adhesive is designed for glueing the following materials in any combinations: rubber (especially effective for gluing rubbers based on natural, styrene and isoprene rubbers), thermoplastic elastomers, leather, artificial leathers, valonia leather, tarpaulin, fabric, foam rubber, and other porous and fibrous materials, cellulosic materials (paper, cardboard, etc.), metals, glass, plastic (except plasticized), wood, ceramics, etc. When gluing polymeric materials containing more than 10 base units of plasticizer, the adhesive may be used as structural. It is possible to glue polyethylene, cellular polyethylene, polypropylene. Efficiently used for gluing EPDM-membranes. Used in the production of furniture, production and repair of footwear, in construction, industry, and by individuals.

The glue line is higly elastic and water-resistant.

The product was permitted for application by the Center of Sanitary and Epidomiological Control of Moscow.

BRIEF APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

If necessary, the glued surfaces shoul be conditioned, degreased, and dried.

Apply a thin layer of the adhesive to the glued surfaces, leave, depending on the porosity of the glued materials, from 1 minute (for porous materials) to 10 minutes (for dense materials), press tightly, and leave under pressure for 24 hours. When glueing well absorbing materials (for instance, fabrics), apply the glue twice with an interval of at least 5 minutes. The item can be used after 24 hours.

Use ethyl acetate to dilute the adhesive by its thickening as a result of the solvents' evaporation and to clean the instruments.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: store the adhesive in a tightly sealed container at the temperature of -40 to +40°C.

Warranty shelf life - 12 months from date of manufacture.
