GENERAL INFORMATION
The 88-P1 (Nairit®) water-resistant adhesive (TU 2513-010-13238275-98) is a solution of polychloroprene rubber, special adhesive resins, modifiers, vulcanizing heater in the mixture of ethyl acetate and solvent petroleum spirit.
PURPOSE
The adhesive is designed for gluing any combinations of items made of foam rubber, porous and fibrous materials, and gluing them to the base made of wood, painted (primed) metal, cardboard, fiberboard, as well as for gluing items made of genuine and artificial leather, fabric, rubber, rigid PVC, and other polymeric materials. It is possible to glue polyethylene, cellular polyethylene, polypropylene, PETF. Used in the production of upholstered furniture, production and repair of footwear, in construction, and by individuals.
The product was permitted for application by the Center of Sanitary and Epidomiological Control of Moscow.

BRIEF APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use. The glued surfaces shoul be conditioned, degreased, and dried.
Cold Technique. When gluing porous (foam rubber, etc.) materials, apply the adhesive to the glued surfaces, leave for 1-3 minutes and press tightly. The adhesive strength exceeding the foam rubber strength is achieved after 30 minutes. When gluing non-porous materials, dry the adhesive layer for 5-10 minutes (if necessary, it is allowed to leave the surfaces with the adhesive applied for several hours - the adhesive properties are preserved), after which press the surfaces tightly against one another for a short period of time. The item can be used after 24 hours.
Hot Technique. Apply a thin adhesive layer to the glued surfaces and dry during 30 minutes. After that heat the glued surfaces to 80-85°C, and press tightly against one another for 1-2 minutes. The item can be used after 4 hours.
Use ethyl acetate to dilute the adhesive by its thickening as a result of the solvents' evaporation. Clean the instruments by a mixture of ethyl acetate and solvent petroleum spirit (Galosha) with the 1:1 volume ratio.
Storage conditions: store the adhesive in a tightly sealed container at the temperature from +5 to +40°C. At temperatures below +5°C the adhesive is jellified (i.e. becomes more viscous). In this case, it should be heated in warm water or a warm room to a temperature from +20 to +40°C and stirred thoroughly, after this the adhesive properties and consistency are fully restored.
Warranty shelf life - 12 months from date of manufacture.
